Crystal (DOB: 10/10/04) is the second daughter of our foundation female, Snowmass Incan Violet and Snowmass Gold Vision. Building on the fine breeding program of Snowmass Alpacas, Crystal is a real gem.
Her fiber is very fine, with low amplitude crimp which forms beautiful bundles throughout her vicuna colored fleece.
These are wonderful numbers for a medium fawn alpaca. This Blue Ribbon winning female is fine quality with a long breeding career ahead of her. Her first cria is a show quality herdsire, Rivanna Midas Touch. When bred to our Blue Ribbon Winning Herdsire, Snowmass Angel Gabriel, she produced a gorgeous dark fawn female, Rivanna GoldenVision. Most recently, she gave birth to another female - Light Fawn and looks just like her brother Midas Touch - from our Jetson son, Rivanna Jet Black.

Our sweet Rose (DOB: 9/25/05) is the 3rd daughter born to our beautiful Dark Rose Grey, Violet. We loved Incan Crystal, born in 2004, so much we repeated the breeding of Snowmass Gold Vision and Snowmass Incan Violet. Without doubt, we love Rose as much as Crystal.
Color is forever a confusing phenomenon in alpaca breeding. Rose is the most luscious, rich Medium Brown color with mahogany tones from her Rose Grey mom. Her color falls right in the middle between her Dark Brown sister, Sable and her Medium Fawn sister, Crystal in color. Her award winning fiber is incredibly fine and her handle so soft she is delightful to feel. We hope she will follow in her two older sister's footsteps. 2006 Histogram AFD 19.3, SD 5.0, CV 25.9, CF 97.3 2007 Histogram AFD 23.2, SD 5.2, CV 22.4, CF 92 2009 Histogram AFD 22.8, SD 4.7, CV 20.50, CF 94
From her 2008 breeding to Sir Accoyo Peruvian Killian, she delivered a herdsire quality Medium Fawn cria, Rivanna Gold Bullion.

Sable (DOB 8/22/03) was the first cria born here on our farm, and she holds a special place in our hearts. She is 3/4 Peruvian. Her fleece is a deep Brown to Bay Black with a tinge of the Rose Grey of her mother, Snowmass Incan Violet and grand dad Incan Magic. It forms soft, crimpy bundles. Her father is the magnificent Peruvian herdsire, Snowmass Andean Bronze, who is by 4Peruvian Andean Gold.
With this many wonderful genes in her background, she has been a wonderful addition to our breeding program. She was bred in spring 2005 to our Full Peruvian True Black herdsire, Brio and produced an incredible Champion, Light Silver Grey Junior Herdsire, Rivanna Andean Silver. She gave us a second grey male in 2008, this time Light Rose Grey from our Irish Cream.
We have rebred her to Brio of Rancho Encantado for a Fall 2009 cria with the hopes of a Silver Grey female.

In our quest for fine fibered, dark fleeced animals we are proud to introduce you to Satin (DOB:11/1/04). She is the grand daughter of CPeruvian Timo, the well known Canadian herdsire. On her mother's side she brings the Hemingway and Accoyo Victor bloodlines into the mix. However she got here, she is a very special True Black female. She is 3/4 Peruvian.
She has the most incredible, sparkling True Black fleece with consistent medium amplitude crimp, bundling galore and to top it off she is extremely dense . Looking at her first histogram, it is hard to believe she is True Black - AFD 18.5, SD 3.9, CV 21.1 and CF 98.2!!
There was never a doubt she would remain on our farm as a foundation female. She is a multiple Blue Ribbon winner and just delivered the brightest cria (True Black) on the farm from her breeding to Multi-Champion, Jetson.

When we saw Rogue (DOB:10/31/05) in the AOBA National Auction last year, we just fell in love with her. The youngest in the class, she took home a 4th place ribbon the next day. Quite an accomplishment with that level of competition.
She is a Full Peruvian Accoyo Grandmaster granddaughter. She has incredible bright, crimpy fiber with exquisite handle. She took a 4th at the VAOBA Expo 2006 show this fall. Rogue just gave us a magnificent BB male cria from her breeding to Evander.
