Rivanna Andean Silver (DOB:5/3/06) is the now a building block of our Foundation Herd. His lineage includes some original Peruvian imports such as Incan Magic, Andean Gold and Peruvian Camelot. We did not expect this magnificent Light Silver Grey, though.
He has density, staple length, fiber architecture, exquisite handle, exceptionally low AFD and, of course, this beautiful silver color. He has absolutely no spotting in his prime fleece.
He has placed in every show entered. All AOBA level III or higher. 1st place Fleece at MAPACA 2007. Most recently he took a first place in both the Fleece and Halter classes at VAOBA Expo 2008 and the GREY RESERVE COLOR CHAMPIONSHIP in the Fleece show. Snowmass UltraElite (DOB 6/13/03) is the son of 6 Peruvian Accoyo Elite, who now stands at stud at Cresent Moon Ranch and is closed to outside breeding. Elite's grid sample histogram (shoulder, blanket and hip combined) tested at AFD 18.3; SD 3.7; CV 20.1; 1.3%>30 in 2002 at 6 years of age! UltraElite's mother, PPPeruvian Halo' s fiber tested 21.6 AFD at 9+ years and after giving birth to five cria.
UltraElite is full Peruvian and 1/2 Accoyo, 1/2 Alianza and has brilliant White fiber which is incredibly dense and crimpy and feels like silk. All his cria carry his lovely head and bone and are brilliant white with very fine fiber.
Elite started breeding in 2005 and and now has many award winning offspring on the ground.

Ty ( DOB 4/17/08) This Medium Rose Grey boy is what it is all about in a grey male. Pictured here at only 10 months. His fleece has incredible character and fineness. His 1/2 brother, Rivanna Midas Touch, is about 6 months older and Ty already matches him in size and conformation. And his 1/2 brother, Rivanna Andean Silver, is a Champion who is settling females now. He is a real charmer. In his first four shows, he has been awarded a Third and three First place ribbons. At the VAOBA Expo 2009 he took the Championship banner in the Greys.

Rivanna Peruvian Maximus
MAX (DOB: 9/5/08) is the Full Peruvian son of Evander, a well know herdsire so-owned by Chase Tavern and Silver . Max has incredibly coverage with lovely crimp and organization. He is the next generation TB herdsires here on our farm. Our newest multi-Champion in both fleece and halter at VAOBA Expo 2009. Max settled his first female in Fall 2010 and has his first male cria on the ground.

Rivanna Jet Black
JET (DOB: 10/12/08) is the son of our multi blue ribbon female Rivanna Black Satin and 8 time Champion Jetson. This is a match made in heaven. This male has the brightest fleece we have ever seen. He was born Dark Brown but next to the skin he is True Black. We are so pleased how this male has matured and he has been added to our Herdsire Row, with his first female cria on the ground.
