Dee Dee and Bill Greer and the Alpacas of Virginia at Rivanna River Farm welcome you to our web site. We are now in our 12th year of raising huacaya alpacas. We are full time farmers and the welfare of our animals is of utmost importance to us. Our alpacas receive the best care possible to insure healthy breeding stock, cria and fiber animals. As Virginia Alpaca Breeders, we are dedicated to bringing diverse bloodlines from across the country to our breeding program and Virginia. Through aquisition of the best bloodlines and our own breeding choices we are selectively breeding for top quality white and dark colored Huacaya Alpacas. Our goal is to breed for fine, high quality fiber on densely covered animals.
